This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel or close your Qalbi account. It should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.
You may cancel or close your Qalbi account at any time. If you would like your account and data permanently deleted, you can do this yourself using the self-service "Delete My Account" option in your account settings, as described in Section 5. If you would prefer to simply stop using Qalbi without deleting your data outright, or need help for any other reason, you can also contact our team directly, as described below.
To cancel your account, email us at info@qalbi.online from the email address associated with your account, and let us know you wish to cancel or close your account.
We will confirm your request and take reasonable steps to stop your profile from being visible to other members and to stop further use of your account for matchmaking purposes.
Cancelling your account stops your active use of Qalbi's matchmaking features going forward. However, please note the following current limitations, which we disclose to you honestly:
If you wish to use Qalbi again after cancelling, contact us at info@qalbi.online and we will assist you manually, since automated reactivation is not currently available.
You can permanently delete your account yourself at any time using the "Delete My Account" option in your account settings. This will anonymize your profile (your name and identifying information replaced with a generic placeholder, other profile fields cleared), permanently remove your photos from our storage, and prevent you from logging back in with that account. Your past messages are preserved for the other participant's conversation integrity but will show as coming from an anonymized "Deleted User" rather than your name. This action is permanent and cannot be undone — see our Privacy Policy (Section 9) for full details.
If you would prefer we handle deletion on your behalf instead of using the self-service option, contact us at info@qalbi.online and we will assist you manually.
Separately from a cancellation you request, Qalbi may suspend or terminate an account under the circumstances described in our Terms of Service (Section 20), such as violations of our Terms, fraudulent activity, or safety concerns. This Cancellation Policy governs cancellations you initiate; it does not limit Qalbi's right to suspend or terminate accounts as described in the Terms of Service.
We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above.
